Micro SoftPLC's are versatile Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) and protocol gateways that are physically small and low cost. Micro SoftPLC's are available as board-level or packaged solutions.
All features of the SoftPLC Runtime Control Software are included. Users have virtually unlimited capacity for program logic and data table, data logging, recipes, etc. Communication ports with configurable drivers and I/O interface options make Micro SoftPLC's perfect for for use as a remote withTagWell, for embedded and low I/O count control applications, or for simple protocol bridging Gateway applications. All SPBB Model SoftPLC's have:
- (1) Ethernet port
- (2) USB ports
- Options for add-on I/O, communication, and other boards
- 512MB RAM user memory and 4GB SD on-board flash
- Supports up to 8GB MicroSD flash (optional)
- Selectable I/O interfaces a wide variety of I/O products via Ethernet, USB or add-on serial ports
- Optional enclosure, panel mountable
There are (4) available SoftPLC firmware runtime sizes, which determine the maximum number of ModbusTCP Servers or EthernetIP Adapters ("connections") and/or digital I/O points (analog I/O is limited only by hardware, not firmware). The table below summarizes these choices.
